Audience Measurement and Cookies

We use Google Analytics to count visits and find out which pages are useful. Measurement only starts if you click « Accept » in the banner: until you have accepted, no measurement cookie is set on your device. If you decline, only a small marker stores your answer so we do not ask again. We use no advertising pixel and no tracking network, and no advertising profile is built.

The fonts are hosted on our own servers, which avoids passing your IP address to a third party just to display text.

The Data We Process

Your messages. If you write to us, we keep your email address and the content of your message for twelve months, solely to reply to you and to keep a record of any correction you flag. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us. These messages are never sold or used for advertising.

The host's technical logs. Netlify, which hosts this site, automatically records the IP address, date and page visited, for security and to keep the site running properly. Netlify acts as a processor. Legal basis: legitimate interest. These logs are kept for a limited time by the host, and transfers to the United States are governed by the Data Privacy Framework.

Amazon's own cookies. As soon as you click a link to Amazon, you leave our site and enter Amazon's, which applies its own privacy policy and sets its own cookies — including the one that links any purchase you make back to our affiliate account. We have no access to your identity or the details of your order: we only receive a total commission figure.

Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, erase, restrict and object to the processing of your data, as well as a right to data portability. Write to contact@tavoliabassio.com: we reply within a month.

If you're not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK's data protection regulator, at ico.org.uk.
