About Tavolia Bassio
A small team who loves interior design, tired of furniture pages that never state a single measurement. Tavolia Bassio grew out of that.
Why This Site Exists
Search for "coffee table" and look at what you get: product listings, lovely interior photos, and almost never the one thing that actually decides your purchase — the centimetres. How long in front of your sofa. How tall next to your seat. How much walkway you'll have left to move around.
We built this site to answer those questions first, before talking about style.
Who Writes This
A small team with a genuine interest in interior design, who checks, verifies and writes. We're not manufacturers, retailers, or qualified interior designers, and we don't claim to be. Our job is to gather reliable measurements and make them easy to read.
Every page is signed by the team and carries its last-updated date. How we work is explained in full on our Method page.
How This Site Makes Money
Tavolia Bassio is a participant in the Amazon Associates programme. When you buy something after following one of our links, we earn a commission. The price you pay is exactly the same: the commission is paid by the retailer, not by you.
This means we never sell you anything directly and never have stock to shift. It also gives us an incentive for you to click, and you have a right to know that — which is why we state it on every page, not just here.
What We Won't Do
We won't invent customer reviews, we won't claim to have tried a piece of furniture we've never actually had in front of us, and we won't push a model forward because it pays more. Our selections are built on measurable criteria, stated on every page.
A question, a spotted error, a suggestion: our Contact page tells you how to reach us.
Price alert
Tell me when the price drops
We watch the prices of every coffee table in our selection. One email when one of them drops, nothing else.
Written by the Tavolia Bassio team
We don't test the furniture: we record each piece's measurements one by one and say where our figures come from. When a dimension is missing from a listing, we say so instead of guessing. Our method.
